So I'm going to get my brake calipers powder coated...my tech question is if I remove all four of my calipers, what do I do about the leaking brake fluid from the lines and will the brake system be ok without calipers for a bit while the calipers are powder coated?

Silvergto2:

Here's one option:

Use electrical tape. Wrap it around the banjo fitting a bunch of times and that should minimize any fluid loss. You may want to put some newspaper under the four corners in case you get a drip or two. Check the reservoir level daily until the calipers are reinstalled.

You can buy plastic plugs for the brake lines.

Where would I get these? Do they just plug into the bango bolt?

Thanks for all of the good ideas.........I'm assuming if I had all 4 calipers off, there isn't any issues as long as the Master cylinder keeps the fluid level topped off and doesn't get any air in correct?

I'm sure you know you'll still need to bleed the system when the calipers are reinstalled. The idea is to minimize the amount of air and moisture that's gonna get into the system.
