A little $10 modification I did this weekend.

I added a little Ford Blue to the engine bay...

do you have the paint code

looks like you bought them! they look great. is that krinkle texture paint?

The paint was just rustoleum Ford Blue high heat engine enamel, so nothing too special, just the good 'ole rattle can. I did use a primer with it thats specifically for plastics, but I don't remember the brand. I think the finish came out the way it did b/c of the plastic itself, not sure tho.

Anyway, i saw the Boss 302 covers (that look pretty much the same) going for ~$100, so I'm proud of my $10 paint job :)

I do like the looks. My dad took delivery of my 2012 candy red gt a few days ago till I get back from Kuwait. I am choming at the bit to drive it in a week and a half. I would like to do somthing simular. I would like them to match the body color and well as the manifold cover. I would think the candy red would take the heat as well.
