Launch RPM

I was wondering what some of you guys launch your cars at when racing either at the track or at the stoplight. My launches suck because I either end up spinning all the way into 3rd or I go at a low RPM which is slow as dirt. Ive been told to ride the clutch a lot but that just sounds like its gonna be real hard on it and ill be putting a new clutch in it real quick if I do that.

Any input would be great.

You won't be able to launch hard on all season tires. No one can give you an exact rpm, but leave as hard as you can without spinning.

I would go out and practice on a back road before going. Try leaving at 2k, and adjust from there.

Learning how to slip the clutch will help you out a lot. You should be able to cut 1.9's or even 1.8's with street tires. Good luck!
