I tightened up the passenger side muffler/tube. It was leaking...
Also, since I cant fit 2.5" mandrel tails around the tires, I made a quick side dump pipe setup with clamp on elbows. They exit between the axles and the rear sway bar. The pipes exit in front of the conrol arm but it's still better than just dumping right at the muffler. There is about 2" of space around the pipe so there wont be any issue. Keeps the fumes out of the car much better this way. :rlaugh:

Swapped tail lights between the 89 LX/SSP and the 90 LX convert. The vert had a mint set and the SSP's had a couple of chips and a crack. The SSP will see show duty and the LX convert will go to my daughter in a few years and who knows what will happen to it then.

Went to wally world to re-supply car wash goodies. I got there and went oooh I need one of those! aaaah, microfiber towel, oh yeah foaming wheel cleaner! uh-huh... gotsta get some carnuba wax, tire black....

Man I went nuts! when I went to check out I had $100 worth of stuff!

Dropped the white one off at a friends who is going to bring the paint back to life ( actuall did this a couple days ago)

Took the turbo car out and finally got on it pretty hard 1-3, it is fast, if I could only get traction.

Still need a .96 A/R exhaust housing for it, and the exhaust needs more tweaking since the torque arm, but damn what a silly car on the street.

i know its a stock guage, still seems hot for me. only gets that high idling in traffic with the ac on. its been getting that high sometimes since i replaced the water temp sensor. id like to own a temp gun to help me figure this out but i no haz one.

Since this past Thursday:

Gear swap, 2.73 to 3.73.
Reinstalled 5" tach. Didn't like it at first, but I see how inaccurate my stock tach is, so it's back in.
Installed EFan override switch
Installed green LED (EFan) in triple gauge panel next to temp gauge

my fan (clutch fan still) seems to turn quite easily when the cars off. i work at advance auto and the one that the system calls for for my car seems to have more resistance. but i cant decide if that resistance isnt felt once you turn the blades (further out) ...hmmm. my late model resto replacement clutch fan might be allowing too much slippage which might be causing my temp problems..

Made new lines and setup a catchtank for the crank case

Made a coolant flow restricter since I got no t-stat and it runs a little hot

Put on some new fasteners on the hood.

Little stuff but a good day

Sold my tubular GT-40 intake setup with 65mm t-body and replaced it with a Trick Flow Street Heat setup with 70mm t-body.....after I stripped, smoothed and polished the intake. I like it. Only problem now, the Street heat is bigger than my GT-40 and now my strut tower brace doesn't fit.

It does seem high. My 93 is usually on the second notch above 130, it goes a little over with the lights on. I have a Mishimoto aluminium radiator, 180* t-stat and Police fan clutch. with all else stock. It is not my daily though and the A/C hasn't worked for years.
