spraying POR 15

Has anyone ever heard of spraying POR 15 with a regular spray bottle; like an old windex bottle? I'm looking to coat the bottom of my coupe and this option was recommended to me.

I`m looking at the can now.

Says spray or brush on. Says use 30 to 35lbs of pressure to spray. It`s great stuff if you`ve never tried it.

I've used tons of the stuff and never heard of anyone using a spray bottle to apply it. Ive sprayed it with a gravity feed gun and brushed it on and believe it or not brushing it on looks just as good the brush streaks level out quite well. If you get it on your skin or anything you dont want it to be on get it off fast cuz it stains quick, it took weeks to wear it off my hands. It kinda spreads out like ink and covers great and is amazingly touch!

I sprayed it with a $69 Harbor Freight HVLP turbine setup, worked awesome, but USE A RESPIRATOR, Plenty of ventilation, it has isocyanates!!

for undercarrieage paint it is best to use a special spray gun
e.g.

Search for other brands too, with POR15 you get little music for the money

sprayed with preval can sprayer and a touch up HVLP gun. The gun worked much better. I'd use a foam brush. But usually with all the tight spaces a gun will have better coverage. Make sure you protect your lungs, nasty stuff.
