How do I remove the sunroof? 91 GT

Hey out there,

Got a 91 GT that I just picked up. The sunroof leaks and I'm going to attempt to change the weather stripping around the sunroof glass and clean out the drain holes. Only thing is I don't know how to take the glass off. I know it comes out, just not sure how to do it. Can anyone out there explain to me how to get it off. Thanks!

Off the car or the glass out of its weather strip "frame"?

Off the car is easy (if it's a factory one). Just unlatch it, and squeeze where the sunroof attaches to the car (don't latch it in the full open position when doing this) the push up a few inches and pull backwards (standing outside the car) and its free.

You probably meant how to get the glass out of its frame making the above info of no help.

The last sunroof I had, I only changed the weather strip that was on the car and that did the trick. I can't remember what I sprayed in the drain holes to unclog them, do a search I'm sure something'll come up. I heard compressed air sometimes works.

You got it. Thats exactly what I was looking for. Needed to learn how to get the sunroof off the car, as simple as it sounds. Just got the car so still learning how everything works. The weather stripping on the glass is cracked and dried. I've seen a couple of posts that say its pretty easy to replace, we'll see if thats true in my case.
