Hi all. I am new to this part of Stangnet because I just got a 2006 Gt mustang to go with my 95 5.0l GT mustang. ( Both are 5spd cars )

Here is my situation. On my 95 mustang I Put a Procharger on it and all the bolt ons to match. I runs great, but it is difficult to keep from stalling in town. My wife wont drive it anymore because of that .

I am looking at the "om3performance turbo for this 2006 4.6l But It must remain tame and easy to take off from the lights without it stalling onMy wife.:nono:

I suspect that the 42 lbs injectors is what makes the 95 a little hard at very low rpms. but I wanted to know if any of you could tell before and after force induction on these 4.6l will it still be tame in town.

I mean this 2006 ,,, a child can drive it. and that is how it must stay, However for ME to enjoy it it needs a good bit more power.

Please advise

Thanks

how come your 95' keeps stalling? Have you got it tuned/checked over every sensor/vacuum line?

If you keep the boost to around 8psi and get a good tune then you should be fine with everyday driveability, I would install a new clutch with the turbo kit too.

I agree with Jymbo that your 95 shouldn't stall at all on it's own unless there is a tune issue. However the SN-95's do have an awkward seating arrangement when it comes to comfortable grip of shifter and foot travel for a great number of people, she may not have any issues with the 06. I'd go with any positive displacement blower like the FRPP or Roush for example. Tune are spot on, very easy to drive even as a daily.

Thats good to hear. Because we may sell the 95, but I wont be content with the stock power of the 06, and she won't be happy if I screw up the ease for which it drives.
