is 29,000 miles too many?

Just get a 2012 base GT, and it will last for 150,000+ miles with better gas mileage and better resale value (if you decide to sell it). It will also have more power with the basic aftermarket tune. Why hope for 30k more miles when you can get 150k more and most likely recoup any additional cost? Your choice, but it's a no-brainer to me.

ya talking it over with wife , i found a new 2011 priemum gt, has 15 miles, silver like my 86gt and even the auto trans. i,ve been looking for most around here are sticks. 29,500. its sure a lott slower then the 07gt, but mabye later i can mod it up some too.

my main question is y do u want to buy a vehicle that is already modded? what about that turns u on? im just curious. seems like it would b more fun to mod the motor yourself or at least know what is done to it and how each part u add responds. nothing like getting parts put on and takin pics of it and smiling in excitement while u wait to get it out of the shop and put your foot on the gas with your new part on. i'm just curious thats all. we're just trying to help man for 22,000 i could do a lot with a reasonably priced 05-07 mustang with moderate miles. lets say u get it for 12-15k that leaves u with 7-10k to mod a motor mmmmmm made my mouth water lol

I bought mine already modded. For the price mine was going for there is no way I could spend that much more on mods. I've got receipts for over $15k worth of mods done by the previous owner. It was modded the way I wanted so why not. No problems so far. Well worth buying it already done in my book.

The decision is really up to you. If the car is well taken care of and you feel comfortable with the price after some research then go for it. The mods may be worth nothing or viewed as a negative to some people but if they are things you would have done to the car then they have alot of value, id say as least half of what they cost new. I bought an 05 with a vortec and love it. The slight "rattle" noise on the vortec is common at idle speeds but as long as it goes away when the rpms increase its fine. Look around on the internet and you will see this is pretty common.
