2008 Black vs Green Bullitt

I went through the same thing when I got mine, and decided if I wanted a black one why not just get a black GT and do the upgrades? The only car you can get the highland green paint on from the factory is the Bullitt. It is also "true" to the car that it is made to replicate.

Rare is subjective in this case. As has been said, Green is the one to go for. You can't get it but on a Bullitt. That to me is rare. My last Mustang was a '01 Bullitt in DHG. My Current Mustang is Black only because I couldn't get it in DHG. To me, Dark Highland Green is the perfect color for the Mustang whether it be Bullitt or otherwise. :nice:

I am not crazy about green, but I would also go with that color for the Bullitt.
The Bullitt is what is desirable.
Bench seats were actually available on a 1965 Mustang. They are rare because no one wanted them. Rarity does not make that option valuable, far from it. I saw a bench seat 1965 Mustang a few years ago. I understand why no one wanted it.

It depends on what you want to do with the car. If you want to drive it, get the color you are most comfortable with. If you want to store it and get the best resale value then get the one with the lesser production number.
It would be a tough decision for me to. I love the Green Bullitts, but I've always had black cars. To answer the question: Black..

black is the "sleeper"

i had a black bullit, and it was such a menacing looking car on the road. and seeing it come up in the rear view mirror from another car looks ominous. green is original to the true 68 bullit, but it is the performance package that is aweme about the car. go black

I just picked up my 08 Highland Green last weekend. Flew from Phoenix to Vegas, got a hotel and hopped onto a shuttle from Vegas to St George Utah the next morning. And it was totally worth it! I think both of the colors look awesome, but black Mustangs are all over the place. They might be more rare on the Bullitt, but then again, the Bullitt is rare no matter what color it is.

First thanks for all the positive responses ... am glad not everyone saying should get a 2011.. I have a black car now is the HG any cooler ?? IF I go with the HG Ill get the 1/4 window louvers and retro rearview mirrors .. but black prob leave as is .. I do worry a bit because I havent had a stick since I had my RCL surgery , so I hope that will not be a problem...

You need this....

DHG with retro-mirrors and retro bumpers. Lowered by Steeda and dampened with Tokico adjustables. We've driven this one cross country last winter and will again this year. Pics are in Palm Desert CA. I'm a 69 year old geezer.

Black CA plate from movie. Car was signed by Chad McQueen at a chance run in, at a gas station in Palm Desert. He was driving his ol' man's Black '58 Porsche Speedster.

Nice guy and a racer in his own rite. He was badly hurt driving the Daytona 24 hr race in 2006.

OOps looks like we have another player in the mix .. I have also seen a very nice Black CS GT a 09... and is less than the Bullitts with about the same millage ... and chrome rims has always been a fave of mine ...
