Hey all, I just put in 50resto's single hook quad. (I thought I ordered the double, but that's for another thread). Now that it's installed, it's working fine but my clutch pedal sits about 1.5 - 2" higher than the brake pedal. Have any of you had this problem and what did you do to fix it?

Im assuming your using a stock cable? I prefer the mulitple hook quad, firewall adjuster and cable.

A firewall adjuster will allow you to adjust it a little, I know I prefer to have the pedal engage about the height of the brake pedal. I use the UPR stuff since I'm a dealer, never had an issue with it in any of my customers cars...

Yes, stock cable, with firewall adjuster, I'm not talking about where it engauges, it's working fine, it's when it's all the way out with my foot off the pedal it sits really high. I'm just wondering if there's a trick to put a stop in so the pedal doesn't come "out" so far.

MM has a kit that allows you to adjust the pedal height downward so the pedal is more even with the brake pedal.
