it'd be cheaper and its better with the over head cams.
i don't like the 1 lifter/pushrod operating 2 valves seems kind of wrong.
Nothing wrong with 1 lifter operating 2 valves. It's been done for decades without problems. Many diesel engines are set up that way and have run millions of miles without problems. The valves in a set up like that will have lighter springs, so the overall spring pressure will not be any different from a large single valve and it's far stiffer spring. May even be less pressure.BlueMonster65 said:why not just buy a 32v DOHC mod motor?

Dimentionally, it's the size of a big block, with only 281 cubic inches. Lack of bottom end torque. Have to go through the hassle of fuel injection. They need a power adder to be really fast (11 second or faster) and still be streetable.BlueMonster65 said:why not just buy a 32v DOHC mod motor?

Not any longer, there's at least one company making carb intakes for them now. Little bit on the pricey side though, at $700 a pop. Edelbrock's rumored to be coming out with carb intakes for them too in the near future.1badII said:Have to go through the hassle of fuel injection.
