I really doubt they will ever get to any non modern ford motor. I think a lot of the reasoning behind the variable valves is for emissions and such. Not so much as a power gain. 4 valve would be sweet but for the cost involved, you can get a supercharger and accomplish the same thing for much cheaper.

Personally I'm waiting for the electronically controlled variable rate valves. BMWs and Mercedes already have them on production cars, it's only a matter of time before it gets filtered down to the SBF
Didn't they have a 4v in the full size bronco. A Guy I worked with had one. Don't remember if it was a 302 or 351 though
