You didint notice your bolts when you picked up your car?, didint you look at the engine?, why didint you take the car back to bitch then when you did?, You said "2 doors down backyard mechanic" so I did not get it as there is no backyard/homes there 2 doors down, its all ind shop space area complex with other lic auto shops there. The shop I work for here farms out work on some projects also to other shops, nothing bad/wrong about that, people still need to get payed if the works done. Theres nothing wrong with your opinion but you should of went back and bitched if you were not happy instead of just bitching about it here. They take visa so thats how I pay. I dont get how these guys could stay in business/make money for over 20 years there if all they do is screw everyone, I dont know, it dont make sence.

Yeah I noticed it, I didn't think it was big deal, I thought about taking the car back and bitch... little stuff here and there they did to the car made me upset and pissed off more and more each and every-time so i just replaced the little shi+ myself and did what i could. and I didn't wanna deal with the outcome. and the brake is not my deal, it's someone else's raw deal(who originally told me not to go there), and has nothing to do with arao, it's the half assed shop. BUT arao is working with them and sending my car there and not letting me know is the f"uked up part.

Brother, you have no idea! I even thought about just driving the car right through their shop and just start pounding on random people when i got the car back. I was that mad.~. yeah you are right, people need to get paid for what was done. but this was major ass backward and backyard work after taking the car to "Real" shop.

I learned my lesson and just walked away. I know how these shops work, they will blame each other and out come is just yelling and screaming and end up being me getting arrested for doing stupid shi+ in the end. I am not 22 years old anymore. screw it, If they wanna make $ this way so be it. whatever.

I know, I shouldn't bitch on the internet but you got me all worked up just remembering what happened. My girlfriend bitching at me for getting ripped off and my friends doing the "Told you so" stories.

I will say your situation there sounds confusing to me on who you were unhappy with about your brakes, again you should of bitched to who ever it was instead of now just posting about the brakes and valve cover nuts now. its hard to believe that most all LA shops do business like this. I agree there are two sides to every story and say it myself and I have had no problems dealing with them. The FACT is what I was refering to was Billetracing did NOT get scamed/ripped off as he DID get his custom one off heads, shipping was posted and thats why I posted because there IS to sides to every story and there is the waybill that he got his heads shipped to him. Your service? story now is the first I have seen of this kind? of issue. Something must of been up with this car if you were driving it for 2 months when it started to screw up again but again your siutuation is not clear besides you NOT being happy.

1.They promised to repair the heads correctly. NOT DONE
2.They promised to change all the valve train parts which was fully paid for. NOT DONE (they only changed couple valves and RE-USED the old followers)
3.They promised to install the heads. NOT DONE (Sent the car to half assed mechanic who did a horrible job. and without my permission.)
4.They rebuilt the heads. NOT DONE(because same problem came back 2 months later because they reused some of the parts that supposed to be replaced in the first place.)
5.They charged for work that was not done correctly.
6.Brake is not my deal.
7.I am unhappy with both ARAO and the mechanic who performed the repair for ripping people off, not doing the work correctly and being shady.

It seems like you DON'T WANT TO understand the situation. and sounds like you work for them or something 393 Boss. What's up?! Are you Russ in a real life or something? You have handful of posts and seems like when these heads come into the conversation, you pop up with the other billet guy. Him flaming ARAO and you defending it. It's suspicious. may be it's just me... I have no hard feeling against you if you are not Russ or the jerk off who screwed me over.

I am just stating and writing what I went through, SO I can totally believe people have been ripped off by ARAO. and that's the PROOF and the FACT!
