a 2003 Cobra 60K miles has a rebuilt title, the guy says the car was in an accident he went in a ditch and replaced the IRS and that is why it was totaled. It is a tenth anniversary. anyways guy wants 13300 and wont take a dollar less. I do not think it is worth is as i have seen others with those miles go for 15k. The car is tunes a bit says it makes 465 RWHP. different pulley for the SC and has been dyno tuned.

Yea I understand just figured I would see what it was worth and try to pick it up. I just found one that was close for 15k but guy said someone was coming to look at it and it sold had 70k miles. kicking myself in the butt for not going and getting that one before the other guy. just trying to get a decent deal.

Yea i did not think it was a low ball offer. seemed fair for a rebuilt title cobra. i could understand had it been a clear titled car why he would have got pissed. but yea didnt bother me to much was just shocked. found another cobra but it is a 1999. any idea what it would cost. this one is cheap to by the way 8k but how much would get cost if i swapped the tranny for a used t56 so i could have a 6speed. then i wanna put in 31 spline rearend instead of the 26 and then supercharge it. that way i have the strong aluminum engine with a six speed and the more solid rear end. i only want around 500hp

im in autobody if you can find them for 2k more in the end you are way better off who knows what really happend to it and how well it was fixed things being butched back together is a safty hazard, tire wear all kinds of goodies costing you way more then 2gs out of your pocket skip it!!

I know the car the OP was talking about was a salvaged title. You can find Cobra's like that for 15K, but you cannot in any way find a Cobra with a good title for 15K. Heck, even 18K is tough to find and that car usually isn't very clean.
