American Muscle short throw shifter

I know this an old thread but just wanted everyone to know that an aftermarket shift stick will NOT fit on this shifter. The screws stripped cause they are cheap and it is a 3 hole shifter rather than the 2 hole tri-ax or pro 5.0. I bought the car(92 GT) with this shifter on it and its ok, nothing like the tri-ax in my mach but it was miles ahead of the stock shifter. So I got the UPR Rock Crusher handle to help with the reach on 1,3 and 5 and it didn't line up! Couldn't believe it! Save your money and get the brands you trust.

I got Steeda's Tri-Ax for Christmas last year and have loved it! No complaints here!

Side effect: all other manual transmissions will feel unbelievably sloppy haha.. Most stock cars now feel like they're in neutral even when in gear
