turn signal/headlight interferance

when i'm driving at night i realized while my headlights are on, whenever i use either turn signal, it shuts my headlights off. i can flicker the turn signals a few times and the headlights will come back on, but i have no idea whats going on and this is not a good thing, total cop-magnet.

Multi Function Switch

Check the wiring for burnt wires, or use a Digital MultiMeter to trace the circuits to see if any of them are faulty.

If you have Foglights, I would go with the switches being faulty. They burn very easily.

i have fog light connections point up front but no lights installed, could that still be the case?

multi-function switch would be my guess.

the multifunction switch is the same as the headlight switch right?

I would bet the MFS is bad, if you have to replace it remember that the 87-89 ones are different than the 90-93's.
