new member and need help please!

hello my names anthony and i own a 2011 5.0 and have a full AM shoping cart ready to go lol

i have some friends who said that if i get this set up on the 5.0 ill lose a lot of TQ

i know this will be very loud and thats what i want BUT if im going to lose like my friends are telling me 25 15 TQ then i dont know if i would want to that. please if there are people out there that have this set up please tell me this is not true cause i want to be the best sounding stang in my state lol

Well with all that, I would suggest getting a CAI, steeda or airaid and a tune, that way you maximize gains and make sure you dont lose as much low end as you might. It is possible to lose low end with exhaust mods bc back pressure creates more torque in the motor. Exhaust mods free up back pressure so its possible but I doubt your gonna lose 25lb/ft of Torque.
 
That setup will be extremely loud. Most people that have done that setup with the 4.6 said it sounded like crap. Muffler deletes (which the loudmouths are) and an off road x pipe sounds raspy and annoying on the 4.6. That may not be the case with the 5.0 but I would do a lot of research first. You are likely to get stopped pretty often as well.
 
I haven't heard the 2011's w/an off-road x yet. But I have only the o/r x with flowmasters that came on the car and yes... Its very raspy and annoying. I couldn't tell a difference in tq loss. I'd and get a programmer also. Just my .02
