Hello all, I would like to buy a 2005 or newer mustang but I thought I would ask a few questions before making a bad decision on what model I buy. Id like to get a 2005+ v6 and upgrade the engine to a 5.4L. But don't know if there would be room for the 5.4 engine and if there was room what would I need to add/change other then the mount locations.

More headaches then worth being you're going to need to
1) Upgrade front suspension to handle the extra weight of the 5.4L
2) Upgrade transmission
3) Upgrade rear end
Unless you have a V8 donor car already don't bother, believe me if you're doing for insurance reasons the money you're going to spend to get what you want done will far exceed what you would spend on a V8 car and insurance.
