procharger install questions

I bought a used "complete" procharger (P1SC) kit off of craigslist. Of course, as expected, it didn't come with a fuel pump or injectors. I was told to use 42 lb injectors, is this correct? What fuel pump should I use? The pulley on the supercharger reads 3_40. Does anyone have a chart to tell what psi this pulley is? Finally, as usually happens to me, my car is a 99 GT. The kit is for a 2000 through 2003. The 1999 model has a different set of brackets. Does anyone out there have the 1999 brackets or does anyone need the 03brackets or will trade. If not, where is a good place to buy the parts. I think I need the main bracket and the idler arm, pulley, etc. Is anything else different? Thanks for any and all help! I'm sure before I finish, I will have many more questions. Stangnet has been great with solving my problems in the past!
Thanks!
Ben

Are you going to use the tune procharger provides or get a custom tune? If your plan is to use the one from procharger I would seriousley consider getting a custom tune.

If using prochargers tune call them up and buy what they tell you to buy. It will either be 36's or 42's most likely.

For a custom tune I would get the largest fuel injectors you can for the money you are willing to spend. But dont go above 60s. This will allow you plenty of room to grow if you build the engine later. I would also consider getting a larger MAF such as the lightning 90mm piece or a SCT BA2500.

As for a fuel pump there are more then a few options out there such as the SVT focus pump, Aviator pump, Ford GT or GT500 pump, Lethal performance just came out with some high flowing pumps that dont cost an arm and a leg. Be carefull buying the focus pump because a lot of places sell regular focus pumps as svt pumps plus the price has gone way up due to high demand. All these pumps will require you to modify your pump basket which consists of drilling at least one 1/2in hole in the basket about 1in up on the front side.

Sorry but I cant help you with the other questions regarding your pro charger as I have never installed one but I am willing to guess if you call up procharger they will help you out. Someone else will most likely chime in though.

Also any pump other then the focus will require some gates submergable fuel hose because the nipple on the hat wont fit. You will also need to clip the pigtail off the harness that plugs into the pump because they dont use the same connector.

3.40" is the stock pulley that comes on the blower for the 8 lb settings, use a 255lph in tank pump...

I am running a special on Pro-M meters and injectors if your interested. Id run a 3" Pro tube meter and a 42# injector, no FMU.

Call Procharger you can buy the brackets from them, just be prepared your looking at $600+ easy...

did almost literally the exact same thing that you are doing!
only difference is that i bought from someone on craigslist!
took me a long time to piece the kit together, but when it was all said and done, i had gone with a 03/04 cobra tank/dual pumps/dual hat and 60 lbers.
i also picked up a 90mm lightning maf. my set up was good to 400 hp or so then i had to upgrade the maf to the sct ba2500 which allowed for 473 to the wheels. I have a pair of cobra pumps without the hat that I'd be willing to sell you, I ended up finding a good deal on the whole setup and didn't use them. all you would need is a dual fuel hat, but there are some issues with your stock baffling if you do that which requires you to be more conscious of your fuel level.
I bought the bracket necessary for my 99 GT off ebay for less than 200. procharger thinks that their parts are made of gold or something because they wanted to charge me somewhere around 75 dollars for a seal that cost me less than 5 at a manufacturing shop. look elsewhere first.

I also switched all my pullies to 8rib while i was in there, so for as far as other stuff, mine was all funky and I can't really advise on that part.

you're injectors and pump needs will depend on the power you want, just do research, call some shops and parts providers, talk to them about what they recommend. I would recomend a custom tune as well! first dyno run on a generic tune=267 whp... 6 hours later and all the kinks worked out=473whp
that's money well spent, friend.

Great advice so far. I just need to process it all. Hopefully, I can find some used brackets or at least sell my brackets. I got the kit super cheap! But, it still is going to cost some cash to get it right. I have a local shop here that can dyno tune it. But they want me to switch to a SCT tuner instead of the diablo tuner I have now. So that's something else I need to buy or trade. Anyone want to buy a diablo tuner?

I love my sct livewire!
I don't know if you are a craigslister, but check it daily...you'll find what you need eventually!

Hey Ben,

I just did the exact thing. I just bought a procharger off a craigslist for the year before mine, I have an 01 GT. Do you want to swap or sell me the bracket? Procharger sells the bracket new for 266... just fyi, or you can have mine.

What a lucky find!

Oh and in regards to the diablosport tuner vs the SCT tuner (I have a diablosports also)unfortunately it doesn't let you change the parameters you need to change for a supercharger.
