5 lug conversion glich

ineed some more help i have 79 capri i put 8.8 rear end along with 5 lug axles that went great do to everyones advice moving on to front i used94 ball oints ,spindles and brakes got it almost together went to bolt up strut/shock top hole dosnt fit bought a striut for 94 but it seems to be to long does any one have any gidea what strut to use or a good remidie

It should fit, I just did this on my 1980 Mustang using 95 spindles. Its a tight fit but the bolts will go in, if you have to gently tap it in with a hammer, just don't force it to much so you don't mess the threads up on the bolt. Also if you have to use a jack to move the lower control arm up to help line the holes up
 
Dont use 94-95 struts, use 87-93 struts. They feature a shorter body and won't bottom out.

You can even use your original struts provided you shim the strut with some hardened washers on the inside of the bolts to where the spindle mounting flange is
