Looking into a new exhaust on my mustang, see signature for info. Just a little indecisive at the moment. It's going to be cat-back only, and so far the ones that have my attention are the magnaflows catback muffler delete. Myself I'm not big in the performance area, so quick question. If I'm running cat-back and deleting the mufflers only will I really be losing back pressure, and if so how much will it affect the performance. Or if you have any ideas on actual mufflers that sound good, and by that I mean loud and roudy. This is my car, not the family's so they rarely ride with me in it. I don't care if I hear the sounds it my car, I just want it to sound like a beast when taking off.

Loud and rowdy?
Look to a Race Bullet.

Roush axles-backs! No drone inside the car, but you can hear the 5.0 pretty good on acceleration.... outside the car, its loud as hell. The neighbors in the 3 closest houses in my subdivision can hear it inside there brick homes when I start it....hahaha

I agree with 642mx. I have the Roush Axle-backs and they are crazy loud under throttle but barely noticeable when idling. I do like the magnaflow competition cat back though. I personally think the lethal o/r X with the magnaflows has one of the best sounds I've heard on the new 5.0. Just my opinions though.

I just bought a 2014 GT and it's waaaaay to quiet and I'd like some input on the Magnaflow axle back mufflers!! I have 18" Magnaflow's on my ProCharged 2004 Mercury Marauder and there is ZERO DRONE so I would really like the NOISE to stay outside in the Mustang too!!:)
So far the only mention of Drone was 642mx with the Roush axle backs!!:nice:
Help me decide guys!!
