power steering conversion on 68

Unless you are specifically shooting for originality, if I were going from manual to power I'd spend the extra bucks and go burgeon or r&p otherwise I'd just leave it as is. Manual on these cars isn't that bad and the stock PS is pretty sloppy.

I agree. For the money I put into my stock '69 Power steering I almost could have went with Burgeonson and had a lot better feeling steering.

My '68 was manual. My '66 is stock power. The only knock I had on my '68's steering was that the steering box was noticeably work. Put a flaming river box in and that went away...and then it was stolen a few months later.
