I just picked up this 2000 Performance Red GT. It was bone stock other than a K&N FILM and Flowmasters. It has a lot of miles on it but drives great and cleaned up pretty well. I remove the side stripe, buffed, polished, and then waxed it. New brake pads, plugs, and cleaned the IAC valve, MAF, and changed the oil. Picked up a set of Saleens off craigslist, lowered it, tinted the windows, moved thethe spoiler back and installed a short shifter. I have a total of $5100 in the car in including purchase price.
I hope these pics come thru on here. This is when I first brought her home. I know these are bad pics I will try to get better ones these weekend once I can clean and shine her back up. Right now its all stock 96 GT Vert with a Cobra hood and front bumper. I know I got some work to do such as I wanna get the stock Cobra fog lamps, set of smoked Cobra headlight & corner marker assembly, 18' Bullit style rims (gloss black with chrome lip), an h-pipe, and drop springs to close that damed wheel well gap. The car used to belong to my sister, but she passed away last august so it will never leave my family. She also has a rebuilt motor with less than 1000 miles on it. Sorry for writing a book people just wanted to give a quick run down. Great look Stangs!
It's lowered too. Look through these pictures. You can fit your head in between the wheel and fender with the stock height, and you can win an off road race.
I've babed it since Ive had it in 03 New paint job last year! its got only 68,000 miles on it Im always deployed So she sit waiting for me I got a ton of parts to add to here ! also and remove Woo hoo .
