I gotta put cats on the car to quiet it down some. I have Pypes LTs, O/R h-pipe, and Violators. It's fine until you need to go hard. I'm afraid it will scare the children. I'm gonna get Pypes ceramic cats. Anybody use em? Will they cut down on the volume a little?

thnx for the input. The car sounds awesome but I understand one can be fined for no cats or exhaust mods due to EPA rules. I don't fear it too much but it's so loud it's like advertising. So if I gotta get checked I may as well be sorta legal. Just thought I'd give the catless sound a shot but this thing is almost as bad as open headers on startup. Calms down a bit after warmup. Everyone says it sounds great but yup-it's kinda loud.:nono:

No clips-but I can say for sure now---those clips are nice but they don't sound like being there. I heard this beast last night when I let my stepson drive it. Sounds like a monster! It might as well have open headers. Car is healthy, mean and tame when you drive it like the cops are behind you. When you step on it the gates of hell open. I've heard this setup on you tube etc., and those sound bites only give you AN IDEA of how it sounds. It is truly raucous. I'm not removing anything. I just want to quiet it a little and get rid of the fumes.
