Engine not overheating gets up to temp and fan kicks on cools down but will not stay at temp, fan kicks on at about 195-200 and kicks off at 130 ... Sitting in the driveway it works fine, take it for a drive and I lose fluid, after a drive sitting in the driveway I will get fluid on the driveway. New Rad, new hoses, 1 week old. stat about a month old, all new fluid 50/50 mix. Overflow tank is stock, no leaks. Driving down the road it will not heat up to temp unless I get on it , then I lose fluid.. No water in the oil, no oil in the water..

First thing i would try a different rad cap. If therm is not opening at your therm temp 180 or 160 whatever your using coolant will rise in rad and go into overflow but after hearing all new stuff just installed my bet is air bubble in rad and needs a burpin. Jack up car little on rad cap side make sure coolant is down a couple inches run car with heat on look for therm to open at right temp if it does not open thats your problem. If therm does open run car for a while raise and hold rpms a little look for large bubble once it burps you will notice level go down put cap on your good. good luck

Are you sure that the fluid is coming from the overflow? I had issues with the weep hole in my waterpump when the seal started going bad. It wouldn't overheat but fluid would run out of the hole out of nowhere.

Ya the water pump is also new .. The hole motor has about 1000 miles on it ...
I am going to put a another new Stat in it today, I think the new one is stuck open, its one of the safty ones that are ment to sick open if it gets hot...

the only way it would pee in overflow is when therm is stuck shut not letting coolant into block so it backs up in rad
