FRPP hot rod cams
Ford Racing Manifold with delete plates
SVT Heat extractor hood/cervinis ducktail spoiler with cali special graphic.
Ford Racing or BBK 62mm throttle body.

and if anyone has any opinions/advice on ford racing ported cylinder heads and also what injectors. I plan on making 375-425hp. so if anyone can give me somewhere to start that would be great thank you. other part options are great too.

Forget the FRPP intake manifold, not really worth it unless you plan on spinning your motor to about 7,500RPM, being stock motors shake themselves apart at that RPM I don't see much of that happening. :D If you're really going to go with the trouble of getting ported heads then scrap the Hot Rods too and go with a nice custom cam that will work with those heads and the long 14" runners of the stock manifold. If you insist on the FRPP intake I'd still invest in a set of cams for the FRPP 9" runners to go with the heads but keep cam power band under 7,000.

FRPP or L&M TB's are a good choice, don't even bother with BBK. At some point you want to consider exhaust so save up for American Racing long tube headers.

Will I still be able to use cats with longtubes? because I have to try and keep the exhaust "green" not worried about how loud they are but california state law sadly states you must have catalytic converters that pass smog.

By the time you get headers, the heads, cams, intake manifold, etc. you might as well get a blower. The installation on those parts is not really any easier than buying a Roush M90 blower or one of the centrifugal superchargers. The blowers also come with tunes so that you don't have to get a new tune every time you add another modification.

my isue with longtubes is that fact they may not fit with my factory cats. unless i should try and get after market. right now i have magnaflow universal x pipe and pypes pype bombs. gotta keep it california legal.

American Racing Headers long tubes are ordered as a kit with mid pipe with catalytic converters. I have them on my personal vehicle and have sold many sets to customers, we have emissions regs here in NY too. Let me know when you're ready we offer ARH long tubes at 5% off MSRP and free ground shipping to lower 48 states.

Once you add longtubes, the factory cats need to be removed. Even if you modify them and put them behind the headers, you're not legal in California. Any change of even the position of the catalytic converters in the state of CA, would make the car illegal. :(

and they call los angeles car enthusiast central yet lots of great performance mods are illegal :( so i guess would shorty headers help any better compared to the longtubesor in comparison the the oem. both w/ cats? FOR MY NAME IS ARNOLD CALIFONIAAAA. In the wise words of Carol Shelby. we aint gonna do no green economical mustang. we are going to guzzle gasoline. this is all a long ways a way. cus im a student and working an ok job. s everyhting will come with time. I plan on keeping my car.

Shorties could be used and will help flow but with all the mods your making, LT's are the way to go performance wise.

Adding shorty headers will not affect the emmissions controls. It won't create any codes. But technically any exhaust product installed at or in front of the catalytic converters in CA must have a CARB number on it or it is considered illegal.

this just makes me sad. I dont want to break the laws. im going to be a sheriff after all. well if you can give me any advice that would be great. right now i have magnaflow universal xpipe and the pype bombs. so im trying to do as much as i can until im limited.

The converters on the 05-10 Mustangs are pretty darn high flow. It would be nice if you could let the car breath a little better with LT headers but you are still going to have a beast of a car. Enjoy it!
