Loose Oil Filter- 2012 GT

I just did my first oil change at 4000 miles. The original oil filter was REMARKABLY LOOSE!

I am a ford tech and this is not that uncommon at all on brand new vehicles that come with a 500s oil filter. You can easily take them off by hand compared to a vehicle that comes with an 820s oil filter, those i still have to break loose with a filter wrench. Have no clue why it is that way though.

loose filters and underfills are not uncommon

Was it leaking? If not, couldn't be to bad..... I have removed a heck of a lot of filters by hand on all sorts of vehicles and not had issues.
