Saying goodbye to my Mustang

Though you're doing the project I want my kids would fist fight over who would get dibs on cruising.

You're gonna have more than $25K into that for sure. If it could be done for that I've a car lot of them for sale to the public. If you do make that number you'll need to do a build thread on here for sure.

That is the gelcoat. The seams all need to be finished also.

Go to the Factory Five Racing website for the pricing. You can get the base kit for as low as 12990. But there are a lot of options available, so that can drive up the cost.

All told, I am looking to have about 25K into it when it is done. I am sure that will creep up on me though
i'm not adding up my land cruiser build until I am done. I just keep buying and telling myself what a good deal I got on each part I find.:leaving:

Of course, I am not counting the value of the parts I took from my Mustang. Right now I have 18K in the kit and getting about 3K for the Mustang rolling chassis and some other parts.

I kept my 331, trans, rearend, cobra brakes, computer, harness, Tweecer, and gauges. All of this is stuff I would have had to buy. So putting an exact cost on the build will be difficult.

I plan on using this thread as a build thread, so keep watching. But winter is coming quick here in Michigan, so I will not really get going on this until spring. The wife says it is bad enough I spend all summer playing with cars, she would have a fit if I put a heater in the garage and worked all winter:( I use the winter months to work on the house.
