Wait til spring for new 5.0 or this...

I'd pass, $34k for a car going on five years old? That's the coin for a well optioned brand new 5.0 which has a LOT of power potential.

IMO the '07-'09 GT500 is dated by the 2010+ model. They just don't look as hot as they did before IMO.

Thanks for the reassurance! Didn't even consider the used only at the track scenario streethorse.

Aaaw YELLOW42RCODE, you left all this cloud/rain/snow? Sorry to hear that!:D

Ok, back to deciding which options to have the dealer is pay for/install and which I'm going to. :lock:

The like-new miles makes it a very tough decision... both have their own qualities.

The GT500 is 5 years older, but has a supercharger with nearly 100 more hp. The 5.0 is brand new, updated styling. If it were a 2009 GT500 it'd make the decision a little easier but thats really just in the head, like said, it can be 1800 miles of race track.

I'd test drive both... a new 5.0 in white would make me drooool

34k is a little high, but it is only the asking price. The black/red combo was pretty rare for 07 and the miles are very low. The tires look new, and the inside of the wheels looks spotless. I doubt that it was a weekend warrior, but rather a nice day cruiser.

If you got them down to 30-31k, I would consider it. VMP pulley/tune/cai combo will put you in the 530-550rwhp range.

The price of the 11-13's has really kept the value of the 07-09 cars relatively high.

I would go with the brand new 5.0. Instead of paying 34k for a 5 year old car that may or may not have been beat. Your getting a brand new car for the same price with a factory warranty, plus with a couple of go fast goodies you can be up around the same amount of power that the GT500 has anyway.

I just bought a 2012 GT in Sept. It still only has 200 miles on it. I'm looking at every way possible I can trade it in this spring for a 2013 BOSS Laguna SECA. I love the schoolbus yellow.

like this?

Check the driver's seat for getting in and out wear. 1800 miles of sunny day driving isn't that many in/outs. 1800 miles of quarter miles is...well...1800 divided by 4...whatever that is.;).

That's a nice color, I was going to try and get a boss just didn't want to spend the extra $$ on them. So i bought one sooner, and went with the lava

I would wait for the new one. 34k seems pretty steep for an '07.

Real steep, but if I could get it for around $30K that couch may be looking good :D

warranty's always a nice cushion

Yeah, drool! Def gonna wait but now this! Damn you Ford!!! :D Won't be a boss but the '13 GT's look incredible! I do have a mental hangup with them all resembling shelbys though.

13's look real good, so unless your set in stone, that mean's you maybe able to snag a good deal on a 2012
