which shifter is the best for the sn95

Had the Steeda Tri-Ax, owned a Pro 5.0 on another ride. Both were pretty much the same thing, I believe Pro5.0 made these for Steeda at the time.

The MGW shifter is now getting rave reviews as being the best out there now. Never had one nor driven a vehicle with one either. May want to look into this though.

honestly as far as shifters go..(just my opinion)

I was a little disappointed in getting a "short throw shifter". It's ok but I guess I expected more than just a shorter stick. Maybe its the one I bought but I dunno I guess I was expecting the distance between gears to be shorter not just a stick that doesn't rise out of the console as high. I still miss 3rd sometimes.

It is more than just a shorter stick, because you can just buy a shorter stick and bolt in to the stock shifter.

These things can save your tranny, especially if you are missing 3rd a lot.

The biggest benefit is the shifter stops that keep you from bending shift forks. Make sure yours are adjusted correctly.

I had a Hurt that I loved. I have never liked a single pro 50 I drove. I have liked every 4.6 triax I have driven and I hear great things from all of my 03 cobra friends about the MGW, which came into the scene as I was getting out.

i had a pro 5.0 shifter i just replaced it with a MGW. the pro 5.0 was nice but handle was a little short for my liking. I just put the MGW in and the adjustments are amazing. totally different driving experience. I highly recommend the MGW!! also when u replace the shifter make sure u replace the plastic bushing inside the transmission while your there.

In addition to having positive stops, the short throw shifters have stronger centering springs, which really helps you hit the right gear when you go to slam 3rd.
