How do I know if I have a Chinese Cobra?

I just bought a cobra intake yesterday and now Im reading all these people having problems with them. I really wish the guys that told me it was an easy 30 ponies wouldve mentioned that theres about 5 problems associated with the chinese castings.

No ford racing emblem where the tb mounts up. Let me know what the general consensus is.

Your not going to get 30 ponies from that intake btw.

Swapping to a Cobra intake took 3.5 tenths off my e.t and added 4 mph to my traps with absolutely no other changes, on stock E7 heads, stock cam, full weight, full interior daily driver that already had shorty headers, 65mm TB and a 75mm MAF and 3.55's. I never dyno'd it but that's at least 30 hp in my book, and I'm not the only one to have gotten similar gains. Adding GT40's and a different cam later on did exactly diddly **** compared to what I got out of that Cobra intake on stock heads.

no way in hell that a cobra intake will give you 30 horses, 15 maaaaybe. My buddy just put a gt40 tubular on my old fox and while yes, you can notice a difference, it is no where close to 30 horse power to the rear.
