the 93 lx I traded my bike for..

well update on the stang, got it complete and took it to the track, launching at 3k off the transbrake i ran a best of 7.83 in the 1/8th with a 60ft of 1.78, still have lots of room for improvement, i wanna adjust the two step to launch harder to see if it will do better

also found out the motor wasnt built as much as i thought it was, was told it was a 408, but its a 351 bored .030 over, elderbrock rpm heads and intake, holley 650 carb,

What MPH did it run?

reaction .53
60ft 1.7469
330ft 5.0535
1/8et 7.8389
1/8mph 87.67

with a little bit of tuning on the two-step i think i can get better times,,,but that was my best of the night shifting at 6500rpms and leaving off the trans brake at 3000rpm, the first few runs i was shifting at 6000rpm, the last two i bumped it up to 6500rpm and picked up a tenth

Cam is custom ground .542 intake .564 exhaust, 304 intake lift 312 exhaust lift, duration at .50 intake 253 and 260 exhaust, stall is a 4500 (not sure of brand),adjustable shocks all the way around, subframe connectors, mickey thompson e/t streets, 430 gears

The cam was custom ground to match dart iron heads when the 351 was built, the owner before me swapped on a set of elderbrock alum. Rpms , slowed the car way down according to a few of my friends,,,with the dart heads and nitrous it ran 6.90's,,,without spray and rpm heads 7.83 is best so far
