can someone help me ID these original center consoles?

so they had different ones for 68 and 67?

What is missing from them to be complete?

The plastic thing on the right is needed by both of them. There should be a sliding light on the underside, and the nylon connecting rod. The shifter for the console was different. The "garage door" is missing from the 67. All the missing parts, including the shifter, are available new.

I believe the repo 67 units go for about $1000 bucks!..I would do some research on ebay and see what they are going for..The 67 will probably bring a fair bit more than the 68 as they are just a little sexier looking...If you think you are ever going to want one for your car I would hang on to one for sure.

^^^What he said.

There should also be a wiring harness for the shifter light and the light at the rear of the console, I can't tell if that is there.

There are also some plastic "cup" inserts for those slots, which are meant to hold the seat belts.

Lastly, there is some bracketry - three pieces IIRC - that serves to attach the upper rear part of the console to the dash. It also supports the rear of the radio, which is important because those heavy old radios will crack the pot metal where the knobs come through.

I'm not sure about the '68 since it is vinyl covered, but my '67 has some felt-like trim that slips over the plastic console base where it meats the dash, ostensibly for noise reduction.
