Winter Storage Related Question

Does the radio/sync system have some kind of permanent memory? I've been debating whether or not to remove the battery from the car over the winter, but I don't know whether or not that will require me do reset all my settings and my bluetooth this spring. Anyone done this on one of the newer cars yet?

I just left the battery in my 2010 all winter. Coated the terminals and it was fine this spring.

If you have electricity available where it will be stored I would buy a battery tender and hook it up. You can get one at tractor supply or a motorcycle shop. I think Walmart may sell them as well.

I've got a charger. No place to plug it in, though. The car is being stored away from my house.

just go start it once a month then....gives you a chance to drool also....lol

i was told from a fellow mustang enthusiast not to start it up once a month that it creates condensation on the cylinder walls.... Anyone else have thoughts on that?

I would let it run till it gets to operating temp and then should be good to go. Just starting it and shutting it off will condense moisture....same way a half full gas tank will draw moisture
