98 mustang gt problems

Hi i have a 98 mustang gt 4.6! i was driving the other day and it seemed like it wasnt getting the gas as i pressed the petal. then it shut off and i had it towed home i done some checking and it not getting any fire . can anybody give me some advice or pointers thank's.

I would check it for codes. Sounds like a sensor may have went bad...

thank some one told me it sounds like the crankshaft postioning sensor may be bad thanks for the advice

Im having the same problem and im not sure where to go from here

same here im going to try the crank shaft postion sensor i have trired everything else as soon as i get some time if u figure it out let me know please

so putting a new crank shaft postion sensor in my mustang tomomrrow cant
