Well, I think I didnt a little better on my 2nd attempt at finding a nice foxbody.

If you saw my first thread, the seller of the first car did take it back, and did refund my money.

SO, my 2nd new fox in two weeks is a 1990 LX Notchback and it's just what I was looking for. Its totally stock, clean, unmolested, never raced, and in very nice shape. It is a "little old lady" car. Seriously, the seller was a 70 year old woman who bought the car when she was 51 and drove it 19 years ! And its still under 100K miles, but just a little under.
It's a 5.0 5-speed, with A/C, power windows/locks, cruise control, and it all works. The car drives like a dream, nice a smooth, pretty quiet too. The car runs excellent and has plenty of power even in its stock form.
And it got through an emissions test with flying colors. I'm pretty happy with it, only complaint would be that the interior smells like old lady perfume.
Heres a pic or two of the car

Interior is blue as blue gets. It could use a good cleaning, I'm thinking of takeing it to a detail shop or something to see if the can clean up the upholstery a little but. Its not terrible, but it does look a little dirty up close.
Or if anyone has any tips on cleaning upholstery I might give it a shot myself.

Man i'm so jealous that thing is in such good shape. Autozone or anything similar have cleaning products for upholstery. Getting it detailed would be cool if you dont want to spend the time on it.

I don't know why but i love that blue interior.

Amazing. It's like a time capsule. Please don't ever mod that thing.

Nice, nice find dude. Before I settled on my hatch I spent almost a year looking for a nice Silver or Black notch, but I couldn't find one that the owners didnt want twice what it was worth.

I still want a notch

Thanks for all the good comments guys.

Basically my plan for the car is to use it as my daily driver, not really planning on doing any mods except for maybe a wheel/tire upgrade. And I was thinking of having the window tint redone cause it is kind of faded and has some bubbles in it on the rear window.
But this is only day 2, I have plenty of time to think of upgrades.....lol

I am totally in love with the wheels in this picture, I believe they are 93 cobra wheels? Which I would assume would have been 5-lug, but I know you can buy these on ebay in a 4-lug version. They have Silver, Polished, and chrome. I like the painted Silver ones and think they would look pretty sweet on my notch.

Original 93 Cobra's were still 4-lug. 50Resto sells those wheels in an offset that will fit our cars. I have them on my LX.

If you take those mudflaps off, please let me know. I'd love to have a set of the original form-fitting pieces laying around.

Is it wrong that I got a little chub when I looked at that first picture?

:fap:

mabye im not gettin it. Yes its a nice notch and a good find but its no different from any other stock notch. Not hating but blue interior is disgusting and 10 holes make me want to puke unless there black.

There is just something about an unmolested notch; don't care what color interior it is or what wheels it has. Has such a clean look to it.

Maybe you should trade your mustang back again for the camaro, since you don't get it. :D
