Well, I think I didnt a little better on my 2nd attempt at finding a nice foxbody.
If you saw my first thread, the seller of the first car did take it back, and did refund my money.
SO, my 2nd new fox in two weeks is a 1990 LX Notchback and it's just what I was looking for. Its totally stock, clean, unmolested, never raced, and in very nice shape. It is a "little old lady" car. Seriously, the seller was a 70 year old woman who bought the car when she was 51 and drove it 19 years ! And its still under 100K miles, but just a little under.
It's a 5.0 5-speed, with A/C, power windows/locks, cruise control, and it all works. The car drives like a dream, nice a smooth, pretty quiet too. The car runs excellent and has plenty of power even in its stock form.
And it got through an emissions test with flying colors. I'm pretty happy with it, only complaint would be that the interior smells like old lady perfume.
Heres a pic or two of the car
