Hey guys, I have a 97 3.8 mustang that I bought not running. I was told it was the heads. My fault for buying not running. So I purchased a 98 motor off craigslist to replace the motor. Everything is hooked up, except a few areas.

My big question is, I noticed a extra EGR in front of the motor on the 98, but the 97 did not have this. It looks as though that I might be able to run my old wire harness on top and pull the EGR off? There is no location to run the hose from it anyway, and I'm not tampering with the smog set up from 97, so I should be good right?

I might have a few more questions on location of vacuum hoses and things till I get it running.
