I can't get my switch to turn to the ACC position. The key fits and allows me to turn to ignition and start modes but won't let me move it ti the Accessory position. I7m thinking there may be something wrong w/ the lock cylinder. I've spayed WD-40 and jiggled the key every which way. Any suggestions?

I went to a locksmith and had him cut a copy of the key but not as deep as the original. It worked! I was able to get the the cyl. out and replace the switch. Granted the key was made from a copy of the worn original. I might just get a new lock cylinder.

I also have switch problems too. I have the switch, but how do I get the old cylinder out if I cant get the tumble cylinder out? Can I drill it out?
You don't want to drill it out. Stick a paper clip in the little hole that's in face of the switch, turn the key counterclockwise and pull it out. Do this while the paper clip is in the hole. I know you said you were having trouble turning the key to the ACC position but that's the proper way to remove the switch.

Mine was the opposite effect. I could easly turn it to ACC but it was sticking on IGN and START. Ended up buying a new tumbler and key from NPD. Works just fine now. Luckly my switch is still good. Tumbler is much easier than pulling the whole mess to get to the switch :)
