new to owning mustang foxbodys, my question is i just b-cammed a 5.0 and went factory with everything else in the build. now the car sputters while rolling at any rpm.loads up and wants to shut off when stopping. I feel its a vacuum leak or one of my vacuum lines is in the wrong place. Also the timing is set at 14. helped alittle, not as bad on the fuel issue. After timing the car seems to have an idle surge, not a bad one only about 500rpm. I have searched some sites for diagrams on the vacuum harness but do not really understand what im looking at. any help would be appriciated.

Is your car an AOD? They don't like cams. Also is your car a speed density car 87 - 88 or is it mass air equipped? 89-93
My 86 Mustang seems to be having the same problems as titan85 . I have AOD transmission and its speed density. Now whenever I turn the car on or stop at a light the rpms go up and down and then the car just stalls. Could it be do to my car having e303 cam and cold air intake. I cleaned out the IAC and it still stalling when ever it idols.

WAS AN AOD NOW 5 SPD FOUND THE PLUG SATURDAY REPLACED, AND DELETED SOME OF THE OLD VACUUM LINES RUNS LIKE A DREAM
