Hello Everyone! New to the forums and i've been trying to do quite a bit of research on exhaust. This website has helped out a bit along with the reviews on several websites.

I bought my Manual 2009 Mustang GT about a year ago. Everything is stock and I'd like to start with a little upgrade on the exhaust.

I have spent quite a bit of time on AmericanMuscle.com and have listened to all of the sound clips. I am thinking I like the Borla sound the most. I like that low aggressive sound from low to high RPMS. Just sounds MEAN.

At first I was just going to buy the Axleback exhaust tips. But now I'm thinking I should get the Borla Stinger S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust system. Then get new midpipe and headers later on.

Is this a good place to start? Also will I set off any sensors with this?

I am looking at this: links:

This looks a bit cheaper. Plus I have amazon prime for free shipping 2-3 day shipping.

I have been very pleased on my 2009 GT with the Flo-Pro axle back exhaust I bought on this site from someone who put 100 miles on them and decided they weren't loud enough. The rumble I get is great for me. It appears the exhaust decision is really personal choice. The mufflers on mine are approximately 4" or 5" X 18" cylinders with nice stainless steel tips that look especially good on the back.
