I personally love the black moldings, but a lot of guys color match them nowadays. I wouldn't remove them all together. That's not exactly... doable in any way that looks right.

Looks good, almost looks like it has no engine from the angle of the picture but then again it does appear to have a transmission w/shifter from the inside pic so. Interior looks real clean.

Congrats! Nice pick up. What's wrong with the moldings? It's not horrible. I would personally address your wheels. I know I'll offend a lot of ppl but IMHO they are ugly.

got the car for 2500....and it has a block and trans no heads or intake on it though....i am still up in the air on the wheels, myself i love big and little's but thinking about shining them up and trading on something in the 17 inch class.

got around to starting on it this evening got the motor and trans out now just gotta drop the 347 over in it....then im gonna work on getting it ready for new paint.

Reason I aske is because I believe 1991 was the first year of the sport seats in the coupe. Those look like base seats that come in 4-bangers and 87-90 5.0 lx coupes and 87-89 lx 5.0 hatches

it was originally a 4 cylinder car yes, and from what i gather the guy i bought it from got it from his dad and his dad did a v8 swap on it back in 08....lol they even switched it to a v8 on the title when he got it from his dad, so no 4 banger insurance for me lol.
