A few more from today. Havnt driven car in 3 years. I forgot how fun this car is. Cant believe how good it runs stock even with a AOD. Just finished the exterior resto this week. Still 100% original paint. Cheap camera doesnt show color well though. The 1 of 46 number is for coupes in model year 1988 only.

Nice looking car! How do you like the looks of the windshield length hood? Any big pros or cons?

Pros...well, i guess you could argue that they're a little more aerodynamic?

Cons....you can't lift your hood anymore and you're stuck with a pin on so any time you need to get under the hood while you're by yourself it becomes a hassle, and if you have nice paint then it becomes chips. You also lose the benefit of what a cowl hood is supposed to do...which is draw cool air into the engine bay. Since it goes all the way to the windshield, you lose the back opening. Beyond all that you also lose your wipers since they'd hit the hood.

Not really worth it IMO unless you have a dedicated drag only car.

Thanks for all the information. With my goal as mine being a street car, sounds like it wouldn't be the best option. I just have problems getting my cowl hood to line up!
