C4 Trans Pan Fitment Problem

Alright first the specs, the car is '67 coupe with a 289 and C4 that I was told are the originals (I am the third owner I believe).

Now the issue...after the trans rebuild I opted to put an aluminum pan from TCI, when the bolt holes were off by some here and there we decided to well them out a bit to make it fit. This worked however some time later it began to leak, when that happened I decided to get a repro from National Parts Depot. Much to my dismay after pulling it out and lining it up to check fitment I realize the holes are off again. This prompted me to get out the pan that was pulled off originally and measure the bolt holes on the front edge of the pan. The original pan holes measure right at 3 1/4" centered where the repro measure very close to 3 1/2". The first pic is the original pan the second is the one from NPD. I have searched high and low for any info on odd bolt patterns or pan sizes with no luck. Even if my C4 was from a donor car the year range is very wide where the trans is largely unchanged. Please somebody help me if they got any info, even if someone could verify the bolt spacing on your C4 that could help.

Do you have a Dip Stick fill Trans or a Pan fill trans. I too purchased a pan from TCI and they state "Requires Part #518050 conversion kit to use on pan-filled application"
I have a Dip Stick Fill so I did not need the conversion kit.

Gah i knew i would forget something, it has the dipstick fill straight into the pan. Yeah mine needed that conversion, however I never used it bc the pan leaked due to fitment issues. The conversion kit is really just a brass fitting and instructions to drill the side of the pan for the dipstick. What kind of bolt alignment did you have, I presume it was fine for you?
