Close to Chicago
3.73s along with brand new carbon fiber clutches going in an '03 GT. Pretty much stock. I live about 30 mins away from Chicago (close to Joliet, for local peeps). I don't have a tuner yet, so I gotta figure that also.

$300 labor here in San Diego. I shopped around and found that 4x4 shops are about the best bet. They do gears all the time and were cheaper then anywhere else.

Listen to this man lol, and as far as a tuner your going to want one or else your going to be guessing your speed. I can tell you tho that it will be about 5 mph lower reading on the speedo until you hit about 55-60mph then it gets closer to 10.

I paid $475, installed, 5 years ago for my 373's. Now I imagine $600 installed? I don't know about the clutch either; 4 years ago I had a "Power Brute" clutch installed, parts and labor; $675. She grabs like a MOFO!!!!!

I think he is saying carbon fiber clutchs for the rear diff.......

Prices are all over the board. I agree that a 4x4 shop might be the best. I could easily see 300-350 for the gears and another 50-100 for the clutch packs for the rear diff. I would expect 400-500. Call around, drive and shop around, I found about 30 shops that can do it within 20 miles of Joilet.

Dominant Motorsports seems to be a shop that is talked about a lot, but I havent seen price lists for them. Apparently they do anything from ATVs, to trucks, to racecars. They are in New Lenox....that is just an example.

OH.

Guys on pretty much right on, I charge $250 labor for a gear install, $75 to do the clutches. Install includes measuring the pinion depth not just swapping shims and pressing all the new bearings on...

Just make sure they use the proper fluid...

Forgot, went looking through all the stuff I got. It's a total rebuild kit, along with carbon fiber clutches and gear oil. I got it all from Latemodelrestoration
