clutch pedal clicking

Just purchased a 2010 GT, it only has 5300 miles. I noticed today that when I press the clutch pedal down, I hear 1 or 2 'clicks'. It's doing it every time I press it down, and it seems like it's coming from the pedal.

Anyone else have this clicking? It's still under warranty, but if it's fairly normal then I'd rather not mess with it. I did a search but I couldn't find anything very useful.

Thanks!

Cool, glad to hear that I'm not the only one getting these 'clicks' in the clutch pedal.

I took it into Ford 2 days ago, they drove it around and said that the pedal was operating normally. I can live with the clicking, especially if it's nothing to worry about. I can't hear them when the stereo is on anyways.

DONT spray.

its the clutch interlock switch. the switch ensures the clutch pedal is depressed before you can start the car. there is nothing wrong with it. it is normal. if you bury your head up by the pedals you can see and hear when it actuates.

How do you like those pype bombs? I've looked at several different Axel backs listened to as many sound clips as i can get my hands on. They are the only ones i like the tone of but I'm afraid they will be too loud. I'm not lookin to be obnoxious and don't want alot of cab noise.

They're on the loud end, but they're not obnoxious in my opinion. There is some drone around 2-2.5k rpm, other than that it sounds pretty smooth. If you don't get on it, they're pretty quiet. I'm happy with them, but I wouldn't keep them on if I decided to add a mid-pipe, I imagine they'd get too loud. They also won't put a huge hole in your wallet, and the tips look pretty good.

Install was easy, hardest part was getting the stock muffler off but that took maybe 30 minutes. They didn't fit tightly against the stock mid-pipe, no matter how hard I tightened the clamp, so I had them welded on for 20 bucks.

Thanx. Im really considering a pair as I said they are the only ones I really liked the sound of. Dont want my MUSCLE car to sound like some sissy sport tuner lol. Im actually thinking about a pair of the black powder coated ones as Im going for that murdered out look with my black beauty :) Thanx again for sharing!
