Thanks! It runs a lot stronger than I anticipated. I was expecting a "peppy" little motor, but even without having it intercooled yet, its strong. I have the stock 7.5 rear with 3.73's but I did install a trac-lok unit. 2,500- 5,000 rpm is a lot of fun and if nothing else, hearing the turbo doing its thing was worth the swap. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Me and a buddy (his is a 347 nitrous powered '92 coupe) are supposed to be going to get dyno'd in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see what my baseline # is.

I like it! Those little 2.3's get pretty nasty when fed healthy amounts of boost.. Keep us updated!

Nice 2.3L Turbo. I had a buddy who had a 1986 Capri RS Turbo 2.3L (white with orange BBS rims). It had gears, downpipe and few more PSI it I remember it as a rocket ship. He traded it back in 1988 for an 88GT. After being in both the RS was much faster and so much more fun.

Still languishing in the corner of the shop after the dizzy incident. I have a new distributor, but the weather has prevented me from being able to get it out and see if it is fixed or not. :nonono:

heater line pulled out of water pump. Getting that cleaned back up to put back up for now... Still making up my mind if I want to go electric

Finished cleaning pan rails and painted them. Picked up stainless bolts from tractor supply for the oil pan. All 22 bolts plus a few extras to add to collection for under 10 bucks. For any one wanting to do this you need 18 1/4-20 x 3/4" and 4 5/16-18 x 1"

That looks Naughty! Daddy Like!

Damn that's hot.

Thanks guys. It's been a long time coming. But I'm happy with the fab work at Tig Vision Welding & Fabrication. He mini-tubbed it, fabbed the chute mount, and he's working on the exhaust now. When he finishes the exhaust, the car can go to the dyno.
