I have a 96 Cobra with BBK long tube headers and I want to replace my TOB. Does anyone out there know if I can drop the tranny without pulling a header or headers or can I slide the tranny back far enough to get in there without actually dropping it? It looks really tight!

Thanks in advance guys!

IIRC, MAC is the only company that you can remove the tranny with them on the car. All others must be removed.

With bbk headers you will have to loosen (not pull) the passenger side header to get the clearance needed to putt the transmission...just loosen the bolts and separate the header from the head and youll be good...no neex to take the header off though
