Clicking with AC

Just bought back my 03 sonic blue GT coupe yesterday. Was cleaning the interior up today and noticed a clicking noise coming from the engine so I popped the hood and checked things out and notice the AC pulley is making a clicking noise it seems to engage and disengage every 30 seconds or so. Anybody have this issue? Will a freon charge fix things up? I will be taking it to my mechanic in a week once I get temp tags put on it.

You're most likely low on coolant.

It is natural for the A/C clutch to cycle and 30-seconds doesn't sound unreasonable. Unless I'm missing something I don't see the problem here.

Is the A/C blowing cold?

AC Runs cold but its a noticeably loud clicking noise. From what I have read its a sign of low freon...but some people have said it could be an issue with the AC clutch so I figured I would ask around.
