88 t-top production numbers are in

Well this is the 1st documented case I've heard so far about T-Top production numbers. Is it a newer book? I'd love to get a general idea about T-Top production numbers in general.

Neat....but at best it's still a roundabout, shot in the dark figure. I'm not so sure I'd bank on a 25-year-old memory from just a "guy from Ford" as being a credible source. Some actual photocopies of a few R&D or production line orders would be a lot more reassuring than just the word of "Joe Blow" that worked at Ford in the late-80's.

I mean....I worked for Ford in the mid/late-90's as well, but I sure as **** couldn't tell you how many Convertibles rolled off the assembly line in a particular year.

I can tell you for a fact that there were no production T-Top SN95's built during that time period though. :D

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I read that no foxes were produced by ford as convertibles or t-tops they were all conversions done by a third party. If that is true I would assume you would have to rely on their records or find a way to see the number of cars sent to them and assume all hatchbacks were converted into t-tops and subtract convertible production numbers from the notch's they received and maybe get a number on t-top notch's. By the way I add good luck to anyone with the time or patience to try and really figure this out.

a company called cars and concepts did the t-tops conversion although some dealerships had the capability to do it because they had a template.the company which was in brighton mi has long been out of business but i do remember driving to their parking lot with a friend of mine thinking we could get a look inside.
