I recently purchased a '93 LX. Clean, fun car. I noticed that the drivers side sits higher than the passenger side. I measured from the ground to the top of the fender and sure enough it's about 2" of difference. I took off the wheels and this is what I found.

I believe that these are some sort of spacers? How can I go about removing these? The passenger side does not have these in the spring.

You might be able to do it by undoing the shocks from the lower mounts and lowering the axle as far as it'll go without stretching the center brake line. If that doens't work, disconnect one side of the swaybar and disconnect both quad shocks, then raise the passenger end of the axle up, which will cause the drivers side to extend, and if you still can't just pull the spacers out, you'll be able to pop the spring out by hand so you can take it where you can pry the spacers out.

Ummm... All you've gotta do is raise the car and support the rear axle on jackstands. Then support the rear of the control arm on the side you want to pull the spring out of with the jack. Remove the bolt holding the lower control arm to the rear axle and slowly lower the control arm until tension is off the spring. Reinstallation is the reverse of that.
